Byron Donalds Celebrates that “Daddy’s Back”

Fort Myers, FL — Gubernatorial hopeful Byron Donalds announced with great fanfare the visit of Donald Trump to Florida for a campaign event this Friday, October 23, in a desperate attempt to stay in Trump’s good graces. Make no mistake: these two are meeting because they are two sides of the same crooked coin, and neither has intentions of delivering real solutions to everyday Floridians.

“While Byron celebrates that “Daddy’s Back,” everyday Floridians remain burdened by the affordability crisis and soaring inflation caused by their agenda that has skyrocketed everyday costs and dismantled critical programs,” said Lisa Zayas, Deputy Communications Director for Florida Watch. 

“Byron, you can bring your “daddy” back down to Florida, but you can’t bring costs down. A campaign rally will not lower grocery bills or the cost of gas at the pump – and political rhetoric will not pay a mortgage. Florida families deserve leadership dedicated to solving real economic pressures, not a reunion of failed politicians who have consistently ignored the state’s affordability crisis,” said Zayas.
