Florida Watch is a communications and research organization with a digital-first lens. Re-launched in the spring of 2020, we serve as the progressive community’s in-state hub for message development, digital communications, and research.
Every Floridian, no matter the color of our skin, the language we speak, or our faith, should have the freedom to be healthy, prosperous, and safe. And yet many of our state lawmakers bend over backwards to cater to wealthy corporations and high-powered special interests, while everyday people are left to figure out how to make ends meet as Florida’s cost of living skyrockets. We juggle bills and stretch paychecks that never get any bigger, forced to choose between paying for rent, childcare, groceries, utilities, or a car payment instead of having the freedom to pursue our own version of the American Dream.
Florida Watch keeps an eye on everything that goes on in our state government to hold our elected officials accountable when they support laws and policies that make it harder for everyday Floridians to be healthy, prosperous, and safe. By working together, we can build the brighter future that we all deserve.
